Mid America Air Museum has a collection of military,

Ice Cream Capital of the World Visitor Center has
been home to Wells' Dairy since 1913. Visitors can view the
past, present and future of dairy production.
Arnold's Park is the oldest amusement park west of
the Mississippi.
Battle Hill Museum of Natural History: The Museum

The Danish Immigrant Museum: The museum is dedicated

Museum of Religious Arts: The Museum preserves and
exhibits religious arts, tradition and culture.
Shelby County Historical Museum features prairie trails
museum, hoskins pioneer hall, Leland log cabin and the McIntosh

SOUTHWEST REGION
Henry A. Wallace Country Life Center: This is the
birthplace of Henry former US vice-president, A. Wallace.
The tour will introduce you to the great achievements of Wallace.
Iowa Aviation Museum: Eleven civil aircraft are on
display, including some rare examples of early flying machines
from the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s.
Glenn Miller Birthplace Home has been restored to
reflect the time around 1904 when Glenn was born. Highlights
include period furnishings, unique features of the home and
family photographs.
Eowata's magnificent grounds offer Oriental gardens,
numerous fountains, an eighty-foot diameter, brick patio,
authentic Indian village, rose gardens and other beautiful
floral displays, lush nature trails, a wildlife reserve.
South Central Region
Pella Historic Village preserves the spirit of Dutch
heritage. Exhibits feature Old World antiques and the Miniature
Dutch Village.
Airpower Museum, Inc features a large collection of
aircraft, many of which are flown regularly.
Beach Ottumwa waterpark offers a Wave Pool featuring over
300,000 gallons and 22,000 square feet of exciting wave action
and tube-riding fun.

Brucemore, a National Trust Historic Site since 1981,
is a mansion situated in the heart of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Built between 1884 and 1886, Brucemore has been home to three
prominent families who used the estate as a center for culture
and the arts.
Riverside Theatre is Iowa City's only resident, professional,
non-profit theatre company.

Midwest Old Threshers' Reunion: - This festival demonstrates
the history of farm machines and farm life.
IOWA NATIONAL PARKS
Effigy Mounds National Monument: The Monument contains
1,481 acres with 191 mounds of which 29 are effigies. The
others are conical, linear and compound.
Herbert Hoover National Historic Site is preserved
by the National Park Service to commemorate the life of the
31st President of the US, Herbert Hoover.
Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail celebrates
the heroic expedition of the Corps of Discovery, led by Captain
Meriwether Lewis and Captain William Clark.
Mormon Pioneer National Historic Trail
