Introduction

They say, it is a land of contrast and beauty. Though established as Olympic National Monument in the year 1909, this park became U.S. national park in 1938. Further, in the year 1976, park was designated an International Biosphere Reserve. It was also declared a World Heritage Site in 1981.

Camping: Olympic National Park is a camper’s paradise with 16-NPS-operated campgrounds and a total number of 910 sites. You can go for camping at any of the campgrounds like Altair, Deer Park, Dosewallips, Elwha, Fairholme, Graves Creek, Heart O’the Hills, Hoh, Kalaloch, Mora, North Fork, Ozette, Queets, Sol Duc, South Beach, and Staircase.

How to Reach

Air: If are traveling by air, you need to reach at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport first.

Road: From Seattle and I-5 corridor, you can reach U.S. 101 in various routes, and reach the park.

Ferry: Ferry services are available throughout the year. Avail the services of Coho Ferry and Victoria Express.
