Road: The Joshua Tree National park lies at a distance of about 140 miles to the east of Los Angeles. One can very well reach it by taking the Interstate10 and Highway 62. The northern entrance to the park lies at Joshua Tree Village and the Twentynine Palms city. The southern entrance is at Cotton wood Spring lying to the east of Indio. One can reach it by following the Interstate 10.
Rail: The Twentynine Palm Springs is one of nearest cities to the Amtrak station. The Sunset Limited running in the Los Angeles-New Orleans route serves the city well and hence makes Joshua Tree National Park accessible.
