Schlitterbahn New Braunfels is 65 acres with more than 40 water rides and family attractions in six named areas. The large collection of rides includes three uphill water coasters, nine tube chutes, 17 water slides, family wave pool, five swimming pools, five hot tubs, seven children's water playgrounds, plus water and sand volleyball courts. The best attributes to this USA water park happen to be the 3 miles of tubing experience and the first artificial wave machine in the world. There are also resort rooms in the ground of the park.
The Schlitterbahn New Braunfels is divided into two principal areas. They are East and West and are been separated with city blocks. The blocks have tram services running between them. The East portion is spread over 25 acres of land. This portion was added to the park in the year 1991. It includes the Surfenburg section comprising Boogie Bahn, a body boarding ride and the first uphill water coaster of the world. The Blastenhoff section was opened beside the Surfenburg in the year 1996. This part includes exciting rides, such as Torrent River and the Master Blaster uphill water coaster.
As most of the activities in the water park involve playing in the water so it will surly make you hungry. That is no way a problem as the park authorities allow bringing food from outside just restricting, alcoholic drinks or glass containers. Apart from that there are different dining outlets throughout the park offering tasty treats.
Schlitterbahn New Braunfels is not open throughout the year but operates for few months. So if you are at Texas during the months from late May through August then do pay a sojourn to this awesome destination.
