North America offers a golden opportunity to tourists to
discover and outdoor opportunities spread out in the country.
The US has got some 64 designated national parks. These parks
are home to more than 60% of the nation's endangered species,
and represent some of the best remaining habitat for the country's
wildlife heritage. They are also seen as "touchstones
of shared history and culture." These parks along with
other trek routes are worth trying out.
Other than the verdant national there are vast windswept
dry lands, the vast expanses of the Grand Canyon and the high
and rough stretches of Rocky Mountains provide an ideal platform
for adventure enthusiasts tourists to explore another part
of United States.
If all these don't excite you, then there are certain other
type of trails and pathways that are loaded with history.
For e.g., you can walk the trails once used by native Indians
and the white settlers while they were on their way into the
wild-west territory from the eastern seaboard. These trails,
which saw the hooves of the horses and the wheels of the wagons,
are now home to trekkers and campers who want to get their
slice of the American wilderness and the native terrain. Some
of the National Parks such as the Yellowstone National Park
and Yosemite National Park are further locations where the
tourists can explore their way through the territory in the
form of the foot soldiers of the wild.
