BUNGEE JUMPING is the most adrenaline-pumping activity,
which became popular in the late 80's in California. Bungee
jumping locations in the United States vary from California
to Idaho, Wyoming and Arizona. Parachuting, Paragliding, Cliff
Jumping, Windsurfing, Wakeboarding, Para motoring, Martial
Arts and Skydiving are some of the daring indulgences. Most
US states have clubs involved in bungee jumping
Generally, if you are over 18 years of age you can jump.
If you are under 18 then you will probably need a parent or
guardian's signature on a release form. Also you may need
special equipment like a smaller harness and also special
cords to deal with a smaller weight.
California's "The Bridge to Nowhere" bungee jumping
site is one of the most popular ones in the country. The bridge
is located approximately forty miles north of downtown Los
Angeles in the beautiful Angeles National Forest.
In Idaho, Idaho, Wyoming and Arizona, there is the option
of doing "heli-bungee" i.e. bungee jumping from
a helicopter where brave souls can throw themselves from a
helicopter hovering 1,200 feet in the air on a 500-foot cord!

EXTREME SPORTS
"We do these things not to escape life, but to prevent
life escaping us"--- this is how an extreme sports enthusiast
once described extreme sports, a loose term for sports featuring
speed, height, danger or stunts. These youthful accounts are
also responsible for its frequent association with youth culture,
including its clothing, fashions, and music.
EXTREME SPORTS TRAVEL TIPS: Be prepared. Trying a
new activity is exciting, but one you want to return
home safely from. Learn the basics from an experienced instructor
or friend. Don't go alone.
