Equipments

Jumping
In the extreme sports Bungee Jumping, you jump from a tall structure. A special cord is used to tie you with the structure as you jump for a free-fall. When you jump, the cord stretches and as a result, you after falling, you start flying upwards once again as the cord snaps you back. These free-falling and rebounding give immense pleasure to the jumpers. The jumpers continue to oscillate up and down till the last energy fades out.
Risks

If the safety harness collapses, one can be injured during bungee jumping. Calculation of cord elasticity is also very important. Improper connection of cord to the jump platform may also lead to a disastrous outcome. There can be several other types of injuries during bungee jumping which include eye trauma, back injury, rope burn, whiplash, bruises, dislocations, uterine prolapse, and pinched fingers.
